PEARLAND YMCA PROGRAM FOR HOMESCHOOLERS:
The Vic Coppinger Family YMCA offers PE classes for children ages 5 and up with sport specific drills and hands on training, to insure your child gets a well rounded experience. Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:30am-12:30pm. Monthly fees are $15/child for facility members and $45/child for program members. The program runs September through May. PEARLAND SWIM ACADEMY:
Pearland Swim Academy (PSA) offers quality swim instruction for ages 6 months and up in our year-round indoor facility in Pearland. Our instructional pool is indoor and heated to 90 degrees. Classes may be held in any type of weather. Our observation area is climate controlled with viewing monitors. Parents can see and hear the entire class in the air conditioned room while siblings can move around without causing distractions to the class in progress. Our staff is trained in the Pearland Swim Academy Curriculum, first aid and CPR. The Pearland Swim Academy Curriculum is skills based toward achieving our Water Strong Certification then continues through stroke development and pre-competitive training.
