Text: The History of the World : History for the Classical Child by Susan Wise Bauer.  Note: Parents will not need to purchase a textbook,

Class Content: "The History of the World : History for the Classical Child" by Susan Wise Bauer will be used to illustrate history. Every week, we will cover the text, work on map skills, and/or do a craft tailored to the material. We are currently working through Volume 2, The History of the Medieval World, and will begin the year with the repercussions of the Fall of the Roman Empire.  There are 3 large volumes in this series, enough to teach the same students for 4 years without repeating material. However, new students will be able to assimilate easily into the class. Parents will not need to purchase a textbook, and there will be no homework except for an occasional coloring page. The emphasis will be that even "ancient history" can be fun!
