     Lab and supply fee $40/yearly (due at registration.) 
 

Prerequisite:  should have completed Integrated Physics and Chemistry (IPC or Physical Science)

**Note: students DO NOT need the Lab book - teacher will develop her own labs.

 

Supply List:  Loose-leaf notebook and paper, pen or pencil.


Class Content and Style:  I will emphasize the scientific method, good lab procedures, and organizational skills (including note-taking and keeping an organized notebook). 
 

Homework: Out of class will be mostly reading the chapters and assigned exercises in the workbook.   I will assign about 2-3 hours of outside work per week. 
 

Evaluation:  I will assign a grade for each quarter made up of class participation, homework, and chapter quizzes and tests.  A "Progress Report" will be sent home with the student each quarter and an end of the year report and certificate of completion that counts for one High School Credit.
