Required Text and Materials: folder (teacher will provide), zipper pocket to keep supplies in, pencil, stick glue, scissors, scotch tape, and crayons. The supplies will be stored in your child’s zipper pouch, and will be available for use during other courses, if need be.

Course Content:
This is a class that will teach styles and techniques needed to become a proficient writer. We will spend most of our class time in whole group.  We will also be doing free journaling and prompted journaling in and out of class.

Homework: Your child will be asked to journal throughout the week and work on an ongoing class assignment.  There will be completion, editing and revision of work done at home periodically.
