Class Description: We will be using Miquon Math (One of the best, if not absolutely the best) in our program to teach your student how to think mathematically. We will be using all four arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) with an intro to algebraic notation, geometry, and diagram-reading. This program will be effective for your advanced and gifted learner as well as those with learning challenges. Your student will gain a profound understanding of basic math concepts. Lots of hands-on and visual teaching strategies will create a fun and effective learning environment. Students will be able to work at their own pace to and beyond their grade level. Homework will consist of practice worksheets from our weekly lessons.
