Time: Wednesday, 9:00-10:45 (extra tutoring and Homework help will be offered Wed. mornings at 8:30)

Text: Discovering Geometry by Key Curriculum Press, 1997 ed. (Teacher will provide the textbook)

Homework: There will be approximately 2-3 hours of homework per week.

Grades: Student will receive Semester Report Cards and a certificate of completion to count for one High School Credit at the end of the year.

Class Content & Style: This is a fun discovery and group-oriented class that includes basic geometric drawings, development of thinking skills, an introduction to deductive and inductive reasoning, and formal geometric proofs. It provides a nice break between Algebra I and II, and is a good preparation for the college SAT or ACT tests.
