Course Content: New Topics and subjects for the 2010-2011 school year for my students who have taken a Spanish class from me and a review of beginning words and subjects for all my students - this will help ensure the fluency of Spanish!!!

Students are introduced to sets of thematically related Spanish vocabulary words. Learning will be interactive. Students cut, color, paste, and play games.  Reading, writing, grammar rules are introduced as early as possible. Every time we meet we will go over the previous week's vocabulary words as well as work with sentence structure.

Homework:
Homework time is at least 15 minutes or more a day. For homework your student will be asked to write the vocabulary words 2 times, learn and memorize the words and spellings, practice speaking orally, worksheets, and review class work.  It is very important for your child to do their part in memorizing and practice speaking in Spanish at home everyday.  This will ensure a fluency and learning of Spanish.

Bio
I've resided in the Pearland area for over 30 years, where I've met my husband and have had two beautiful children, Mia and Micah.  In 2002, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Houston majoring in Communications/Broadcast Journalism.  Shortly after graduation, I found that I had a love for teaching children.  So I returned to college and received my Teaching Certificate.  I taught in the public school system for six years and have enjoyed every moment of my tenure.  Now the Lord has blessed me with a wonderful opportunity to teach Home school children.  Teaching home schoolers has been such a blessing and a rewarding experience for me.  I'm extremely excited to meet all the new faces in the upcoming school year and look forward to making special memories for both myself and your children.
