Bio: In 2002, I earned a Bachelors Degree from the University
of Houston majoring in Communications/Broadcast Journalism. Shortly after
graduation, I returned to college and received my Teaching Certificate. I
have been teaching in the public school system for six years and have
enjoyed every moment of my tenure. I've resided in the Pearland area for
over 30 years, where I've met my husband and have had two beautiful
children, ages 2 1/2 and 10 months. I've been blessed with the wonderful
opportunity to be able to use my skills in the home school setting. I'm
extremely excited to meet all the new faces in the upcoming school year and
look forward to making special memories for both myself and your children.

pouch, and will be available for use during other courses, if need be.
Course Content:
Students are introduced to sets of thematically related Spanish
vocabulary words. Learning will be interactive. Students cut, color,
paste, and play games. Reading and writing are introduced as early as
possible. The younger grades (K thru 3rd) will do more matching and
recognition while the older students will do more reading and writing.
Every time we meet we will go over the previous week's vocabulary words
as well as work with sentence structure. Homework time is 15 minutes a
day. For homework your student will be asked to write the vocabulary
words 2 times, learn the words, and do one worksheet in their
workbooks. This has proven to be a very helpful tool.
